Leave a clear
shift handoff.
Give your next shift the open work, stock needs and problems in one place.
Before you leave or change responsibility.
You and the person taking over your shift.
Your open items have a named owner and next action.
- 1
Finish or hand over every open order
Review your open tickets. Complete what you can. For anything unfinished, write the order or ticket reference, what is already done, the next action and who will finish it. Tell the incoming lead about any customer waiting.
